Natural and Compostable Solutions: The New Products Made from Cellulose Pulp

The market for cellulose pulp tableware is rapidly expanding worldwide, representing one of the most promising segments in the disposable products landscape. Growing consumer attention to high-quality and sustainable solutions is driving interest in natural-origin materials that are versatile and easy to dispose of.

Natural fibers represent another valid alternative for DOpla, alongside reusable plastics and biopolymers, confirming the company’s commitment to offering innovative and environmentally conscious solutions.

The new products in the line offer significant environmental and safety benefits. Certified OK compost HOME (TÜV Austria), they fully biodegrade in home composting systems without the need for industrial facilities. They can be disposed of with organic waste and turn into compost in a short time, without releasing harmful substances. Moreover, these products are PFAS FREE, meaning they contain no perfluoroalkyl substances—man-made compounds known for their persistence in the environment and potential health risks. A responsible choice to reduce exposure to these substances and promote more conscious consumption.

The line includes plates and bowls, available in formats suitable for both domestic and professional use. They are resistant to temperatures up to 90°C for 15 minutes and are microwave-safe (up to 800W for 2 minutes).

With this new offering, DOpla strengthens its position in the sustainable solutions market by providing functional, safe, and environmentally friendly products.
